I'm SO proud of my Mathew! I got an email from his teacher, Ms. Hart, a couple of weeks ago, telling me that Mathew was going to be recognized at an assembly for his academic achievements, but it was a SURPRISE, so I couldn't tell him that I was coming to see him today at school. It was kind of hard to keep that secret! It was so much fun to see how proud he was to see me and his little brothers at his school, and he was so proud of himself! He got a certificate for "Academic Improvement" and a coupon for Sunday brunch at Salty's (which we won't use, and we can't give it to anyone, so it will go in the scrapbook). Way to go, Mathew!
